Lakshmi Sivadas is a Programme Manager at the JournalismAI project at POLIS, the journalism think-tank at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she manages the JournalismAI Fellowship. The Fellowship brings together journalists and technologists from across the world to collaborate on using AI to enhance journalism. Lakshmi resides in Bangalore, India. Apart from her interests in AI and technology, she believes that the next leg of journalism's evolution will largely be centred around news production that will empower citizen communities. In prior years, she's helped produce two award-winning, primetime business news shows for CNBC-TV18 in India, and has worked as a reporter for NDTV.
