She was part of the team of VerdadAbierta, an investigative journalism website reporting on conflict and peace. Ana has also worked as a communication specialist in different public and private organisations, where she focused on creating and developing communities.
At the European Journalism Centre, Ana Maria leads the Freelance Journalism Assembly, a support platform designed to empower the community and provide the members with new skills and connections. For the last two years, the Assembly has celebrated the power of the community to make a difference through events, training sessions, resources, and networking opportunities.
