Andrew Morse

Andrew Morse is the president and publisher of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, responsible for the content, product, business and operations of the storied news organization. Throughout his 25-year career, Andrew has championed world-class journalism and storytelling while positioning newsrooms for the future.

Before coming to The AJC, Andrew served as executive vice president and chief digital officer for CNN Worldwide, and as the Head of CNN+. In that capacity, Andrew oversaw a global portfolio of digital businesses that included CNN.com, CNN Business, CNN Audio, CNN Underscored, as well as CNN’s direct-to-consumer efforts. During his tenure, Andrew grew CNN into the world’s No. 1 source of digital news, and CNN’s digital teams were awarded multiple Emmy, Murrow, Dupont, National Headliner and Webby Awards. Before assuming responsibility for the global digital business, Andrew served as executive vice president for editorial for the CNN/US television network and global digital platforms.

Prior to joining CNN in 2013, Andrew served as Head of Bloomberg Television in the U.S. He began his journalism career at ABC News, where he spent 15 years in several executive and TV production roles, including a decade overseas as a bureau chief, producer and assignment editor.

Andrew was raised in the Washington D.C. area and graduated from Cornell University, where he was editor-in-chief of the Cornell Daily Sun. He lives in Atlanta and is a proud husband and father of two children.
