Ben Heubl started his career as a journalist in the UK. In London, he worked at The Economist and the Financial Times. First as a developer, a data journalist and later in the area of investigative journalism, he has carried out numerous international projects. A few years ago, Ben started to develop new skills in open-source intelligence (OSINT), to provide himself with novel means to report on those breaking the law, injustice, financial fraud, issues with technology and the environment, breach in sanctions and many other topics. In the field of OSINT, Ben now also teaches other journalists. Since 2022, he has worked in the Investigative Team of the Süddeutsche Zeitung.
