Christine Glancey

Christine Glancey is executive editor of Rest of World, with responsibility for managing and overseeing daily coverage from around the world.

Previously, she served as a deputy editor for standards at the Wall Street Journal, including creating and advising newsroom-wide initiatives on generative AI strategy, deep fake forensics, and reader trust R&D.

Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from St. John’s University and a Master of Arts from Columbia University. She is a passionate advocate for readers and championing young journalists and serves on the advisory board of St. John’s University Journalism Department. She has also served on the board of the Dow Jones Foundation and the International Center for Journalists.
