Daniel Otunge is a communication and advocacy specialist with over 15 years of professional experience. As the Deputy Executive Director of Science Africa, Daniel is in charge of strategy, projects development, coordination and management. Daniel holds a MA degree in Mass Communication from the University of Nairobi. Daniel has undertaken various professional courses in journalism in Africa, Europe and USA. He has worked in senior communication and advocacy positions with regional organizations, including African Agricultural Technology Foundation and the African Seed Trade Association, among others. He has taught journalism at St Paul’s University and advocacy skills at Cornell University (USA). Daniel was the founding chairperson of Media for Environment Science, Health and Agriculture.
