Jasmin Bauomy
Jasmin Bauomy is a senior podcast producer and audio journalist for TRZ Media, based in Berlin. She's currently involved in the production of an investigative podcast series as well as a climate change-related narrative reported show. Both will be published in Germany this year. Jasmin also helps studios develop podcast formats and ideas for English- and German-speaking audiences.
Up until January 2023, Jasmin was Head of Creative Audio at Blinkist, where she led efforts to bring more storytelling features to an audio learning experience. Jasmin also helped launch Al Jazeera English’s first news and current affairs podcast, The Debrief, as a host and producer. She then went on to be a senior producer at Jetty, Al Jazeera’s podcasting wing. Jasmin co-organised and took on a mentorship role for participants of Spotify's podcast accelerator program SoundUp in Germany to help foster more representation in the podcast world. Her work was nominated and long-listed for multiple awards and a decade in the media industry has taken her from Europe to the Middle East, to Southeast Asia, and from podcasting to PR, to video production, to social media management.
