Jennifer Gibson is co-founder and director of Psst, a nonprofit working to collectivise whistleblowing in the tech industry. Through its secure platform, Safe, Psst enables tech workers to raise public-interest concerns together—reducing individual exposure while strengthening accountability in an era of AI-driven monitoring and traceability. Jennifer represents whistleblowers, particularly in tech, helping them speak out while minimizing the risk of retaliation, exposure, and legal harm.
Jennifer has been a human rights advocate for over twenty years and a lawyer for nearly fifteen. She spent a decade strategically litigating War on Terror cases on behalf of civilians harmed by national security policies, work that brought her into sustained engagement with national security whistleblowers and the risks they face. She later served as Legal Director at The Signals Network, where she represented whistleblowers directly and worked closely with investigative journalists to protect sources in high-risk reporting environments.
