Joanna Rozycka-Iwan is a seasoned expert in media impact investment, consulting, and financial management, bringing almost two decades of experience to the forefront of media and sustainable finance. Since joining Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) in 2012, Joanna managed a diverse portfolio of debt and equity impact investments across Central and Southeast Europe and Asia, playing a pivotal role in executing significant media deals in Europe in recent years.

As Chief Investment Officer, she oversees MDIF's global portfolio and investment strategy, while actively serving on the Supervisory Boards of several investee companies, including Gremi Media and Wirtualna Polska on Polish market. Joanna excels in shaping strategic priorities, performance monitoring, and financial management, driving impactful change within the organizations she supports.

Before her tenure at MDIF, Joanna advised companies at Deloitte and Crido Taxand, where she successfully secured over EUR 150 million in financing for a wide array of projects spanning innovation, environmental protection, intermodal transport and renewable energy.

A dedicated professional, Joanna has been a member of ACCA since 2014 and earned her FCCA designation in 2019. She is also a proud alumna of the Leadership Academy for Poland (2021). Based in Warsaw, she holds an MA in Corporate Finance from SGH Warsaw School of Economics and an MA in International Relations from Warsaw University.
