Natalie Sedletska is a Ukrainian investigative reporter based in Kyiv. Since 2014 she has served as the editor-in-chief of “Schemes” - an award-winning investigative project run by Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty’s (RFE/RL) Ukrainian Service. Natalie leads a team of investigative journalists that exposes high-level political corruption and abuse of power in Ukraine, as well as Russian war crimes. Since 2023, Natalie has taken on an additional role as RFE/RL's Kyiv bureau chief. Under Natalie's leadership, the “Schemes” project has received significant national and international professional recognition, earning a series of prestigious awards such as the German-Norwegian Free Media Awards in 2020 and the Global Shining Light Award (Certificate of Excellence) from the Global Investigative Journalism Network in 2023.
She holds a master's degree in journalism from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and completed the Draper Hills Summer Fellowship at Stanford University’s Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law in 2019.
