Yassin Swehat is a Syrian-Spanish journalist specializing in Syrian affairs, Levantine and Arab politics, European affairs, democratic transitions, post-war reconstruction, historical memory, enforced disappearances, and the communities affected by political violence. He is also deeply engaged in narrative journalism. Swehat is a co-founder and editorial board member of Al-Jumhuriya Collective and serves as the executive editor of aljumhuriya.net.
