Enrique Anarte Lazo is a Spanish journalist currently leading the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s award-winning TikTok channel at Openly, TRF's global LGBTQ+ news platform. He has covered queer and human rights stories from over 15 countries and has previously reported for Reuters, NBC News and DW, among others. He is also an ambassador for the Poynter Institute’s MediaWise media literacy initiative, where he focuses on mis/disinformation targeting LGBTQ+ people. On his personal TikTok and Instagram channels, he delivers news explainers about European politics, queer topics and mis/disinformation.
