Florence Martin-Kessler is the founder and CEO of Live Magazine, a journalism show in 28 cities - including 21 in Europe, 5 Africa and 2 in the Middle East - and labelled Press Innovation of the Year by the 2015 Assises Internationales du Journalisme. Since its creation 10 years ago, Live Magazine has reached an audience of 150 000 and produced special editions with the Financial Times, Le Monde, Le Temps and Les Echos as well as book publishers and major festivals such as les Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles. Live Magazine's government-sponsored outreach and media literacy program trains teachers and vocational-schools students all over France (10 000 in total, since the creation of the “Academie”). She was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard in 2010-11 and sits on the board of the CFJ (French Journalism School). In 2019, she was listed among the Fifty who make Paris by the local newspaper Le Parisien. In 2023, she was awarded the title of Chevalière de l'ordre des Arts et des Lettres for services to journalism in France.
