Martin Williams is UK investigations editor at openDemocracy and author of Parliament Ltd: A journey to the dark heart of British politics (2016).
Before joining openDemocracy, he spent four years at Channel 4 News as a specialist producer. This followed several years working as a freelance journalist, specialising in politics and investigations – reporting for the Guardian as well as writing widely across the media. Martin has written investigations for Private Eye, The Independent, The Sunday Times, the Mirror, Vice and the Bureau of Investigative Journalism, among others.
