Susanne Amann
Susanne Amann was born in Stuttgart in 1976. After a traineeship at taz - die tageszeitung in Berlin, she was an editor at taz and Financial Times Deutschland. From March 2007, she worked as business editor and head of department at SPIEGEL ONLINE before switching to the DER SPIEGEL economics department as an editor in 2010, then as deputy head of department from 2013, then later head of department. From 2019 to 2023 she was Managing Editor responsible for personnel, budget and transformation. Since 2023 Suzanne has been part of the DER SPIEGEL investigative team. She is also a member of the Board of Trsutees of the Bonn Institute.
