Margherita Loddoni holds a PhD in urban studies with a focus on land rights in African cities. Previously, she conducted research on the impact of environmental policies on Indigenous Peoples in Costa Rica and worked on disaster risk reduction in Indonesia with UNDP. Since 2014 Margherita has been working with the Indigenous Peoples team at IFAD, mainly supporting the processes related to the Indigenous Peoples' Forum and the Indigenous Peoples Assistance Facility (IPAF). She is trained in autobiographical writing methodologies at the University of Free Autobiography in Anghiari (LUA).
